Since the inception of the Ray Wu Memorial Fund, we have succeeded in launching the fund-raising campaign with the goal of raising $100K as the seed fund.  A new campaign to raise money to sustain our activities is initiated every year. Over $2 million has been received so far. 

The Gu Xiaocheng Memorial Fund was established by the Board of directors in 2012 in memory of Professor Gu Xiaocheng. You may designate your donation to this special fund.

Regardless of the amount of donation, all contributors will be recognized as Donors of RWMF. All donations are tax-deductible.

In addition to regular donors, we have three special recognition categories, Star Donors, Patron Donors, and Founder Donors for individuals who contribute cumulatively cash or cash equivalence of $1,000, $10,000, and $100,000 respectively.

Contributions by organizations or companies are also welcome. An organization that contributes cash or cash equivalence to the Fund at any one time is called Contributor. An organization that contributes cash or cash equivalence of $5,000 or more to the Fund accumulatively is called Grand Contributor.

Each year, organizations or companies may sponsor one or more Ray Wu Prize winners through donation of the cash value of the Ray Wu Prize.  In recognition of the organization’s sponsorship, the Ray Wu Prize Selection Committee will designate one or more winners whose citation shall include an acknowledgement of “This prize is sponsored by (organization name)”.
