The Ray Wu Memorial Fund (RWMF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to carry on Dr. Ray Wu’s legacy of supporting young scientists in life sciences.
RWMF works closely with other professional organizations such as CBIS (Chinese Biological Investigators Society) and SCBA (Society of Chinese Biologist in America).
The Fund shall be used exclusively for cultural or scientific scholarly purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), including the following:
(a) to promote, augment and improve life science research and education activities by Chinese scientists and trainees;
(b) to provide financial resources for life science research and education activities by Chinese scientists and trainees;
(c) to recognize contributions by Chinese scientists and trainees in life science research and education.
(d) otherwise to engage in any lawful act and activity consistent with the foregoing for which funds may be formed according to the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States of America .)
